From a young age, I was given the freedom to create and to explore my own path. That early sense of creative openness shaped my outlook on life and laid the foundation for my enduring love of art. During my secondary education, I found my direction in Visual and Architectural Arts, where I was introduced to a variety of techniques and artistic styles. This period formed the basis of my artistic development. After my studies, I spent five years working in the theatre world, where I expressed my creativity through makeup and stage design. During that time, I developed a sharp eye for detail, expression, and composition. Eventually, I set out to travel, embarking on a long journey across Asia. Along the way, I left traces of my art behind and gathered wisdom, inspiration, and a deeper appreciation for beauty in everyday life. Five years later, I returned to Belgium, where I found the space and quiet to rediscover my passion for painting. Not long after, I was drawn to the craft of linocut printing, a medium that deepened my love for form, rhythm, and simplicity. Today, my work reflects this journey: a fusion of freedom, observation, and an ongoing fascination with the quiet beauty that surrounds us.
